The holy grail of xml
Friday, December 7th, 2007Why is it that no matter how hard I search I cannot find a simple and easy to use program which will change xml into elements on a page dynamically without the need for much editing and coding, I want a simple program which I can create a template for how the elements should be posted onto the page (or which will create the template in steps while parsing the elements)
Or something which would make my life so much easier, all of you people creating xml files for people to use for either syndicating your content, affiliation etc, you all know who you are, why on earth dont you just supply relevant files with your xml feed which will make a base which you can edit the layout of which can be used straight to put files in a webpage (either php html asp whatever) just some form of already made out of the box solution which doesnt require as much effort as putting every link manually on the page in the firstplace to setup. Really when it takes that much effort why use xml wasnt it supposed to make life easier? Does it though? Really?
Give us out of the box xml solutions, or someone create a simple program which is versatile enough to work with any xml feed which is well made.
If someone can truly make a program that impresses me xml to fully working useable webpage-wise then I would be happy to pay for that program… I know I could use it, dont like spending hours on these things.
